Ceel Daahir – Erigavo Road Project

Al Nasr Relief Agency is proud to support the construction of the Ceel Daahir–Erigavo Road, a landmark infrastructure project that will improve transport, connectivity and access to essential services across the Sanaag region of Somalia.

ANRA initially raised $45,000 to contribute towards the construction of this vital road. Building on that success, a further $30,000 has now been raised, bringing Al Nasr Relief Agency's total contribution to $75,000.

For communities across Sanaag, reliable road infrastructure is essential. At present, travelling to the commercial city of Bosaso—where many people buy and sell goods, access healthcare and other essential services can take half a day or more due to poor road conditions.

As the road extends to the town of Badhan, the journey is expected to be reduced to less than three hours. This will make travel safer, faster, and more affordable, while opening up greater economic opportunities for local communities.

This project reflects Al Nasr Relief Agency's commitment to supporting sustainable development by investing in infrastructure that creates lasting benefits for communities.
