Badhan General Hospital

Before the civil conflict, Badhan General Hospital was the region's main healthcare facility. Following the conflict, the hospital suffered significant structural damage and became largely unusable. In addition, there was no secure boundary separating the hospital from the surrounding residential area, creating health and safety concerns for both patients and local residents.

One of Al Nasr Relief Agency's first major projects at the hospital was the construction of a secure perimeter wall enclosing the entire hospital site. This was a significant project that greatly improved the safety, security and privacy of the hospital for patients, staff and the surrounding community.

Building on this partnership, ANRA further supported the hospital by establishing dedicated maternity and paediatric wards. Before this project, there were no purpose-built facilities for these essential services.

ANRA also provided basic medical equipment to help improve the quality of care available to mothers, newborn babies and children.

These projects have strengthened healthcare provision in the region, improved access to essential medical services for local families, and established a strong and lasting partnership between Al Nasr Relief Agency and the hospital's management.
